Twisted Fate

Prologue

An ominous wind howls in the air as a once beautiful castle now lay in ruins. The man in red and the man in green are engaged in a fierce battle with am cossial size reptitilain creature. A woman with strawberry blonde hair, cover her mouth and watch in horror as the creature breathe fire on them toward the two men whom barely avoid it. The flames dipping form the side of its jaws as is bloodshot eye are filled with hate and anger.  The two men look at each other and nod in agreement as they plan to do a double team attack. The men took out the power stars form their pockets and are bathe in it wonderful light. Their bodies glow with a golden aura and their eye have a fiery rage within them. The man in red clasped its hands together and a fierce fire came froth form it, in the same time, the man in green clasped his hand together and a frice lighting comes forth. Both of their attacks collide with the creature and it roars out in pain. The glow in their bodies cease and they both smile in triumph but it was short live. Before they had a chance to react, the creature swipes its claws, with a dark aura and sent both of them flying right into the hillside, knocking them unconscenice. The woman screams out their names with tears streaming down form her eyes. The creature looks down at the woman with an evil grin and she clenches her fist and stares into its eyes with anger.  She close her eyes and place her hands over her breast, blight light appears as he summon out a massive size power star.  The creature bellows out a laugh as she goes into her fighting stance and then there was a flash.

Peach woke up with a startle look on her face. She tightens her grip on her covers and her unkempt hair covering the left side of her face. Her mind wrack with question about the dream as she wonders about it.  She glance at the window before getting off of the bed and walk to the balcony. The cool, night air greeted her face as he rests her hands on the rail. She look towards the stars and quietly said a prayer to them, hoping that it just a dream.
Meanwhile in the Dark lands Bowser drumming his claws on the throne with a frown on his face as he reflects about his recent failure. He quietly curses at the Mario brothers who foil his latest attempt to rule the galaxy, clenching his fist and slamming it against the chair arm, threaten to break it. The heavyset door crack open and his personal assistance, Kamek, rushing towards him with a delightful smile.

“My lord, I finally discover a way for you to conjure the Mushroom Kingdom, thus making your dreams come true.”

The words pull Bowser out from self pity and he raises his eye brow with interest. Not a man with patience as he always hated people, mainly his advisor beating around the bush.

“Are you going to tell me or you are going to make me guess.” he stress the last part out, hinting a warning.

Kamek feverishly shake his head, not wanting to become one with the flame like last time. “Not sire, I want you to come with me. Seeing believes and has an interesting fact which involves you.”

Bowser stare into Kamek eyes not, before nodding his head in agreement. Kamek bow to Bowser, then the king gets up and follows him out form the throne room. As they walking down the long hallway, Bowser took the time to admire the beauty of his castle. Despite the fact that the air holds a dark atmosphere, the interior have a hidden beauty in the darkness. Kamek lead Bowser down a flight of stair leading to the magic koopa’s lab. Inside of it there are various magic books and also a large caldron at the center it. What caught Bowser eyes was a large black star, hovering above it. Bowser about to say something about it but Kamek beat him to it.

“Behold Lord Bowser, the dark Giga star.”

“Dark Giga Star?” Bowser repeat, blinking with confusion.

“Yes and with this star you will have the power to change into you true fearsome from. Before you ask, you are the first king in the history in the Koopa Kingdom who ever have the ability to change as indicate in the prophecy.”

“Prophecy?  Kamek you better tell me all of the details before I have barbeque koopa tonight.”

Kamek gulps and nervously nod. “In the prophecy, it spoke about a Koopa with orange hair who have the desire to rule the Mushroom Kingdom it also state that this koopa powers will manifest and thus have dragon blood. What this mean is that you’ll have the ability to morph yourself into the most powerful creature in this kingdom’s history.”

“So with this star, I can finally rule the Mushroom kingdom?” Kamek only nods in response and Bowser bellows out a laugh. “Finally, I’ll rule both kingdoms with Peach by my side.”

As Bowser stares at the Giga star, a voice suddenly call out his name. He turns his head to Kamek as he though he called him but Kamek just waiting for him to take the star.  As Bowser stretch his claws towards it, the same voice call out to him again. For the first time ever he have a bad feeling about this. He just shrugs if off and grab the star. A voice whispers in the back of his mind.

“You’re mine.”
